Then Saddlecamp is the place for you! This girls only riding school, right in the heart of bushranger country, provides the ultimate horse riding adventure. The new winter 2010 programme has now been launched. Its great for riders of all levels and perfect for beginners. Learn how to look after your horse, take part in a gymkhana or a show day; or win a trophy, ribbon or certificate at all these wonderful events!

BOOK NOW! Winter 2010 Programme includes:

Horsemanship Days: Learn how to groom, saddle, ride, harness and drive a horse, and take part in a mini-gymkhana.  A great introduction for lessons, or if you’re keen to own a horse. Cost? $70. When? 10am-4pm Tuesday, 6/7, 13/7 and Sunday 25/7.

Morning Tea with a Bushranger: Ride a 5 km trail through an historic Bushranger area listening to some fabulous tales, getting bailed up and having morning tea with a bushranger. Cost? $55 When? 10am-12pm Sundays 20/6, 22/8 and Wednesdays 7/7, 14/7.

Gymkhanas: A day full of games on horse-back.  Learn new horse riding skills and put them into action! Cost? $60 When? 10am-2pm Thursdays 8/7, 15/7 & Sundays 6/6, 15/8.

Show Days: Learn how to plait up a pony and present it for showing, and learn how to compete in a leading class, riding class, dressage test and jumping competition.  A perfect introduction to Showing and Pony Club.  Cost? $65.  When? 10am-3pm Sundays 15/6, 29/8 and Fridays 9/7.

One Day Event: Compete in a Dressage Test and ride a Show Jumping and Cross Country Jumping Course.  Lessons and practice in the morning followed by the competition in the afternoon. Cost? $60 When? 10am-2pm Sunday 4/7 & Friday 16/7.

Horse’s Birthday Gymkhana: Join in the celebration for our favourite horses Birthday Party!  Party Games on horseback and a party picnic! Cost? $60.  When?  10am-2pm Sunday 1/8.

Girls ONLY Overnight Camp: Your own horse for the weekend!!! Learn how to groom, saddle up, ride and drive a horse and cart.  Play mounted games and party games on horseback.  Spotlight native animals at night, trail ride through bushranger territory and practice competing in a horse show. Cost? $300 includes meals & accommodation, with 4 riders only!  When?  Saturday 17 to Sunday 18 July.
